Hello Lovelies,
I will be moving next week (my blog) so before I move house I thought I would share some of my favourite photos and a look behind the image to see how I shot them. I am super-excited about the make-over and hope you will be too. For now I will leave with you these images and some shooting notes.

A beautiful girl at the Moulin Rouge. Shot Using: One light and thousands of watts of jewels as only the Moulin Rouge knows how!

Between breaks at the Moulin Rouge. Shot Using: Two Lights.. A big booming spotlight for the dancer and another side light to catch the top of the feathers and the floor.

ReplyDeleteI like the magic of theatre. Especially the magic that goes on behind the scenes. There is an unmistakable smell of theatre whether you are working behind the scenes of a small community theatre or in the costume department of a major ballet company. There is the odour of old wood, sweat, and make up. I love it!
ReplyDeleteSo incredibly gorgeous Carla! Amazing shots. I love the story they tell.

I love the one sitting on the edge of the stage! The lighting must have been a killer. I could never have done it.
