Portrait Inspiration - Esther Haase

The first time I saw the images of Esther Haase I thought they were by Ellen Von Unwerth. These two female photographers have a lot in common and in comes out in their images. They are both German, both have created incredible campaigns for Guess and their women are always stylish and fun!

This particularly series of images with beautiful model Isa Olak were shot for Vanity Fair Italy and Carla loves them!! They are a little tropical fantasy from the 50's, a little cabaret and ever so chic.

There are a couple of wonderful ingredients here, great light, beautiful textures, wonderful details and props, great emotion and good fun! Something that we all can take to our own portraits.

So pass me my martini and let's form a conga line and break out the bongo's! .
