Women - Lillian Bassman

You probably feel like it has been 'Lillian Bassman week' at Carla Loves Photography this week.
So much has happened in one week with the shock passing of Lillian on Monday.

Lillian Bassman's collection of images of Women remain one of the greatest books I have on my bookshelf. Page after page of rich high contrast black and whites, Women is a collection of images taken between the 1940's and 1960's and her extraordinary images will inspire anyone shooting portraiture, fashion or boudoir. I can highly recommend it.

I have her new book Lingerie  which is due for release in March on my wishlist!!
