What's in a Portrait?? What makes a portrait special?? How do I take a portrait full of emotion??
I recently took this shot of two men in Spain. We were all having lunch and I kept staring at the old man. Looked as though he had just walked off a set of a film and was playing the part of the perfect elderly European gentleman. The guy the left was a larrikin joking around all day.
So I asked him a question and this was his reaction to my question!! And I got my pic!

ReplyDeleteYour workshops sound wonderful.
Good week to you,
Mimi
I have no doubt that this workshop would be so beneficial and enjoyable for any aspiring photographer...wishing Paris were a little closer to home.
ReplyDeleteYou caught this moment of these two men perfectly. When photographing my family, I tend to hesitate and miss the most meaningful moments.

ReplyDeleteSo would love to take this workshop. Will go to the other blog and take a look at it. I still work with a point and shoot though. But oh, how I love this shot! Not just the affection between the two but the beauty of the lines on their shirts, the rock formations behind them and the lines in the window and door. Beautifully lined up! Thanks for sharing!
