Paris At Night

All photos taken on my iphone Carla Coulson

My favourite time of day in Paris is when night falls and the city is draped in black (just like at the fashion shows)!

I am addicted to Paris at night and love nothing better than snapping her at her glamorous best. These pics were taken on my evening walk last night to meet my darling in the 6th. I shot them using my Iphone and Hipstamatic Blackeys Super grain (bring it on) and John S lens. I love Hipstamatic makes everything gorgeous!!

If you too love Paris you might like to check out these posts:

  4. Paris at night is so mysterious, the small winding streets, the cobblestones, the Seine, bridges...while walking on the left bank at night, i feel the history of Paris, the lives as they were led in the past centuries, the aroma of the middle ages, the Renaissance, the splendor of the 18th century, yet the misery as so poignantly described by victor Hugo. Walking at night aimlessly through the streets of Paris is one of my greatest pleasure.

  6. Sam and I once took my mother in law Connie for a walk around Paris at night...kids safely sleeping with Nonno. It was wonderful watching her reactions as we wandered without words just soaking it all in...ciao lisa x

  7. So when the Canon Rebel lays over and dies, I should just get an iPhone? :) Seriously, how can I pull off this effect with editing? Inquiring minds must know.

Bon weekend to you and HG,

PS You and I were mentioned in the same breath on Vicki's blog today. I'm chuffed! :)

  14. There are many obvious differences, but I can see how Melbourne has been influenced by a city like Paris.
Is that a book store in the third shot? So literary and romantic - a book store being open at night.
