For those of you who have followed my blog for a while you know that I am head over heels for the work of the fabulous Sarah Moon and her polaroids.

I discovered Sarah Moon's work almost ten years ago and have been devoted ever since. There is so much too admire, the emotion, the composition, her women, the styling and the movement. Yes, the movement. There is always a little movement or camera shake in her images that take them to another level. Her images have the quality of coming from another world, a world where only beauty, poetry, fragility, femininity and dreams exist.


Sarah Moon's photos make me want to enter her world and never leave!
And for a portrait photographer there is endless inspiration here. Wonderful shapes, lovely poses, subdued light, great subjects, low contrast and of course gorgeous, gorgeous fashion.


Creating a great image is a sum of many importrant ingredients. The image becomes stronger when all the fundamental ingredients co-exist. Wonderful light, subject, location, styling, poses, expressions and emotion. Sarah Moon's photos have the sum of everything in each one.
