A Sparkling 2012 From Paris

January 1, 2012 Notre Dame Paris - Carla Coulson

Today, the first day of a New Year I took one of my favourite walks at my favourite hour in Paris. Down through the Marais over Pont Louis Philippe onto the ile-st-louis and around the back of Notre Dame. I have walked it a thousand times but the pure beauty of this corner of Paris never ceases to please my senses. I took a couple of snaps here and there and made by way home.

A New Year brings hope, its a clean start, a fresh look at the world and there is nothing I like more!

I wish all of you a spectacular 2012 and can't wait to see what treasures you have in store for me this year.

    What a lovely gift to yourself, Carla. Starting the New Year in peace. I can't wait to hear if your Christmas was as lovely as it sounded. Santa was good to me--I got a new camera!! A Canon Powershot G12. Perfect for putting my toe in the water of "real" photography and I am loving it.

    Bonne année 2012, Carla! I love re-discovering my old Paris through your eyes. Another beautiful shot. You manage to make the grey, damp, Parisian winter look glamorous.
