No I haven't left 'his gorgousness'! I am flying out of Naples today and my nephew Mitchell arrives in Paris..I am so excited. He is my first nephew or niece to do their version of the Grand Tour of Europe with their friends. His trip includes almost every country. Three months just like I did all those years ago.. So much knowledge, experience, life lessons and fun to be had. Can't wait to see him..

It's so exciting when your own loved ones take off on their journey. My niece just returned from two years in London. She is the same age I was when I first left Australia for London. I worked and backpacked and love now hearing her stories.
ReplyDeleteIt seems so surreal that she was just a baby in my arms and now she is a seasoned traveler. Your nephew will have the time of his life, and you will have so much to share with him!

What it is to be young and free! I left school at 16 and went straight into a job. No travelling for me. I guess that I wasn't that lucky
